DAY 5: sweet dreams
Although we were all born in the ‘80s, we don’t really identify with the music of that era. But that doesn’t keep us from rocking out to ‘80s tunes. This one has always been one of our favorites. When the song was featured in X-Men: Apocalypse, we thought, “Man that song is tight! We need to cover this one!” There is a lot of repetition to this song, as is with most pop songs, so we wanted to add some improvisational solos to give it a new flavor. This was one of our easier video shoots because all we had to do was perform the song a few times - all the cool visual effects were done after the shoot. Big thanks to Jeremy Cho who directed and produced all the visual effects. Jeremy has actually done visual effects for big movies like TED, Harry Potter, Twilight, Star Trek - he is the real deal. It was a pleasure working with him. We hope to work him again soon.
